a devenit, incepand cu luna aprilie 2011, "Pol de competenta universitara
francofona", recunoscut de Minsterul Francez al Afacerilor Externe si finantat
prin intermediul Ambasadei Frantei la Bucuresti cu trei burse care sustin
mobilitatile studentilor exclusiv in cadrul acestui program de studiu. Aceste
trei noi mobilitati se adauga celor doua burse Erasmus la Paris si celorlalte
doua burse Erasmus (la Bordeaux si la Bruxelles), dedicate exclusiv studentilor
acestui masterat.

Nino Andreatta Fellowship - Call for Applications
Alma Graduate School/Universita di Bologna is pleased to announce the
Nino Andreatta Fellowship for the academic year 2011-2012. The Nino
Andreatta Fellowship was created to honor the memory of Professor
Beniamino Andreatta and to help young researchers with significant
international experience to enter into the Italian Academy. This
program is open to scholars with a Ph.D. Degree in the Social
Sciences. Applicants shall be involved in theoretical or applied
research, with relevant implications for global politics, economics,
and business. The Scientific Board of the Fellowship, considered the
fact that the topic Nino Andreatta chose for his final lecture on the
date of his retirement from University, was the 1997 financial and
economic crisis in East Asia as well as instruments to avoid future
shocks, has determined that for the academic year 2011-2012 priority
will be given to Italian candidates who gained a Ph.D. abroad, in
management and economics.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND FELLOWSHIP DESCRIPTION:
- In order to apply, prospective candidates must have fully completed
a Ph.D. program abroad in the Social Sciences.
- Fellowships provide a salary of US $45.000,00, gross, plus benefits.
This fellowship also includes a US $10.000,00 research fund, which can
be used for research or conference travels or other research expenses.
Fellows can apply for additional research support during the first
year. The length of the first appointment is September 1st, 2011
through August 31st, 2012. Funds will be transferred in Euros
according to the exchange rate of the publication date of this call,
May 24th, 2011 (1 US $ = 0,709 Euro).
- Fellowships can be renewed for one or two years. Request for renewal
must be submitted by March 31st, 2012 and will be evaluated by April
15th, 2012 by the Selection Committee.
- Alma Graduate School will provide logistical, technological, and
secretarial support and will assist Fellows in finding a constructive
research environment within the Universita di Bologna.
RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF THE NINO ANDREATTA FELLOW:
- The Fellow is expected to carry out the research described in the
project proposal submitted at the time of application.
- The Fellow is also expected to teach a thirty-hour course in a
Master Program at Alma Graduate School, and to offer doctoral seminars
within the University of Bologna, (to be defined together with the
Department Chair).
- The Fellow will be entitled to apply for the support of a research assistant.
- The Fellow is encouraged to apply, with the assistance of Alma
Graduate School and the Universita di Bologna, for national and
international research calls and tenders to receive further financial
support for his/her research project.

Europamobil este un proiect al Fundatiilor Genshagen si Robert Bosch din
Germania, organizat in diverse regiuni din Europa din 2009. Dupa cum ii
spune si numele, Europamobil este un proiect de mobilitate care promoveaza
diversitatea si mobilitatea europeana in randul elevilor. In acest scop,
20 de studenti din diferite tari europene vor calatori intr-un autocar,
Europamobil, si vor vizita scoli din regiunea Brandenburg /Germania. Ei
vor sustine ateliere si seminarii pentru elevi in fiecare scoala pe
diverse probleme europene.
Studentii isi vor dezvolta singuri programul pe parcursul unei saptamani
pregatitoare inainte de calatorie. In functie de universitate,
participarea la acest proiect poate fi recunoscuta ca stagiu de practica
sau echivalent ECTS.
Proiectul se deruleaza in perioada 8 septembrie - 2 octombrie 2011. Toate
cheltuielile generate de participarea la acest proiect sunt asigurate de

Research. One objective of this fixed-term programme is to increase
networking between researchers in the historical humanities at the
international level, including researchers in religious, cultural and
political sciences under the special programme "Islam, the modern nation
state and transnational movements". Other goals include the promotion of
trans-national academic exchange, increasing transnational mobility,
facilitating further education and the positive and long-term influencing of
the research environment in both origin and destination countries. Research
scholarships can be requested for a larger-scale research work or in
connection with a research project.

Comisia Fulbright din Romania anunta deschiderea competitiei Fulbright Senior Award 2012-2013, prin care profesorii, cercetatorii si profesionistii din mediul public si privat din Romania, cu diploma de doctorat sau echivalent al acesteia pot obtine burse postodctorale de cercetare si predare la universitati din Statele Unite ale Americii.

Celee 8 competente cheie - Comisia Europeana pentru educatie si formare
Cadrul celor opt competente cheie a fost dezvoltat ca parte a implementarii initiativei "Education & Training 2010", care urmareste obiective strategice ale Comisiei Europene pentru educatie si formare. CfA: The Middle East Institute Leadership Development Program, DL 15.07
The Middle East Institute Leadership Development Program
Internships at the Middle East Institute (MEI) are designed to provide
undergraduates who have completed at least one year of school, recent
graduates, and graduate students considering a career in a Middle East related
field with hands-on experience in a Washington non-profit organization that
focuses exclusively on the Middle East. Interns obtain guidance, experience,
and exposure to the Washington policy and scholarly community while helping out
with the everyday operations of the Middle East Institute.
Positions are available on a full or part-time basis with a minimum of 20 hours
a week. Although there is no financial compensation for interns, MEI does offer
each intern one free language class, a one-year membership to MEI, and
reimbursement for local travel expenses.
Application Deadline (Fall 2011 term): July 15.
Available internships: Center for Turkish Studies, Communications, Development,
Languages, Programs, Publications, Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center, and Research
Assistantships.
